Beta-Glucan

What it is

A polysaccharide (a large sugar molecule) derived from sources like oats, yeast, mushrooms, and seaweed.

How it works

Beta-Glucan is an excellent humectant that hydrates the skin. It also has potent soothing capabilities, helping to reduce redness and signs of sensitivity. Some studies suggest it can stimulate collagen synthesis and promote wound healing. Despite its large molecular size, it has been shown to penetrate the skin.
