Glycolic Acid
What it is
An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane. It has the smallest molecular size of all AHAs, allowing it to penetrate effectively.
How it works
Glycolic acid works by dissolving the bonds that hold dead skin cells to the surface of the skin, promoting exfoliation and increasing cell turnover. At higher concentrations, it can penetrate deeper to stimulate collagen production in the dermis.
Pairs well with
Other AHAs, Hyaluronic Acid
