What it is

A unique plant-derived liquid wax ester that is remarkably similar in structure to human sebum, making it an excellent moisturizer.

How it works

Chemically a wax ester, not an oil, it mimics the skin's natural sebum. It forms a thin, non-greasy, semi-occlusive layer that helps to prevent moisture loss and supports the skin barrier. It can also absorb into the skin to make it soft and supple.
