What it is
A stable, water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It is particularly known for its benefits for acne-prone skin.
How it works
Once absorbed, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP) converts to ascorbic acid in the skin. It provides antioxidant protection, brightens skin tone, and has been shown to have a strong antimicrobial effect against acne-causing bacteria. It may also help prevent the oxidation of sebum, which is a trigger for acne.
